# Χώρα·Πόλη (Hora Poli)

> Χώρα·Πόλη is a free Greek word-game app for iPhone and Android, made by Modex. It is the mobile version of «Χώρα Πόλη», the classic Greek pen-and-paper game (the Greek equivalent of Stadt-Land-Fluss / Scattergories / Petit Bac): a random letter is drawn and players race to write a word starting with it in seven categories — Όνομα (first name), Επώνυμο (surname), Χώρα (country), Πόλη (city), Ζώο (animal), Πράγμα (object), Φυτό (plant). Every answer is judged instantly by the app's Greek dictionary plus an AI model, which explains each verdict.

Key facts:
- Platforms: iOS (App Store id 6772345231) and Android (package com.modex.horapoli). Greek-language only.
- Modes: solo rounds of 10, 30, 60 or 90 seconds; Blitz (shrinking timer, one mistake ends the run); live rooms with friends for up to 20 players via a 6-digit code or invite link; asynchronous duels; a daily challenge with a double-points bonus category; leaderboards and achievements.
- Scoring: 10 points for a valid unique answer, 5 if another player wrote the same word, 20 if you were the only player to answer that category, −5 for a wrong word, 0 for an empty slot.
- Pricing: free to download; 4 games and 2 duels per day for free. Optional Pro subscription (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) unlocks unlimited play.
- Privacy: no sign-up needed; only the word and the category are sent to the AI.
